Dear Parents and Players
As you’ll be aware the Lincolnshire school holidays begin next week. As such, our last water polo session for all squads except Seniors will be tomorrow pm (31st March). We will return on Tuesday 18th April.
The Thursday PM session will continue to run over the holidays so if this is one of your allocated sessions then please still attend.
May I take this time to wish you all a great Easter Break and if you have some spare time, build your swim fitness at the pool.
Grantham Water Polo Club men's team recorded their first Notts League victory last night overcoming local rivals Calverton & Bingham edging a very close game 8 - 7.

The 3rd quarter saw Bingham take the lead 3 - 5 following 2 penalty offences by Luke Rees before Alex Kerr scored for Grantham with 1 second remaining.

Grantham Water Polo Club has achieved Swim 21 accreditation. This is a national clubmark recognition that your club is providing quality service to all its members. There has been a lot of work going on behind the scenes to achieve this and is the latest in a stream of successes the club has been having. There have been a number of people who have worked on this behind the scenes but I would like to pay particular thanks to Amy Parnham, Helen Earley and Tarina Chow. Without their help this would not have happened.
Following last night's Notts ASA Water Polo League AGM, Grantham Water Polo Club have been accepted into the league for 2017.

We are guaranteed a minimum of 18 games between Feb - Oct 2017 for our senior men's team with the first game being against Hucknall in the KO Cup!!
